1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Maldives Agent platform (wazan-platform.web.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Service Description

Maldives Agent is a booking inquiry platform that connects travelers with luxury resort properties across the Maldives. We facilitate booking requests and availability checks. We act as an intermediary between guests and resort properties.

3. Booking Process

Inquiry-based: Submissions through our platform are booking requests, not confirmed reservations. Our team confirms availability and rates within 2 hours.
Pricing: Displayed rates are wholesale rates inclusive of applicable taxes (TGST 16%, Service Charge 10%, Green Tax). Rates are subject to change until confirmed by our reservations team.
Cashback: The 9% cashback is applied at final checkout and reflected in your confirmed booking total.
Cancellation: Cancellation policies vary by resort and are communicated at the time of booking confirmation. We recommend reviewing resort-specific policies before confirming.

4. User Obligations

You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information in booking forms
Not use the platform for any unlawful purpose
Not attempt to interfere with the platform's operation
Not scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without permission

5. Accuracy of Information

We strive to keep property information, rates, and availability accurate. However, we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free. Property descriptions, images, and amenities are provided by resort partners and may change without notice.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this platform, including design, text, images, and code, is owned by Maldives Agent or its licensors. Property images may be sourced from Google Places API and are subject to their respective licenses. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

Maldives Agent is not liable for:

Actions or omissions of resort properties
Changes in rates, availability, or resort conditions after booking
Travel disruptions, weather events, or force majeure
Inaccuracies in third-party information displayed on the platform

Our maximum liability is limited to the service fees collected for your booking.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from use of this platform shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the laws of the Republic of Maldives.

9. Privacy

Your use of this platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
